Each branch of MAM’s is clearly laid out and furnished with care. Everything we offer has a purpose and invites children to get involved themselves. This is how we encourage their independence, self-esteem and confidence. Based on love and warmth, we help children grow into stable, responsible adults.

In 2010, Mariëlle founded MAM’s Kinderopvang, driven by the dream of creating a place where children truly feel at home. That warm, loving foundation still forms the heart of our organization.

Pedagogical Vision

At MAM’s, each child’s development is central. Inspired by Montessori, Pikler, Gordon and Dewulf, among others. Children develop in the safe environment of the nursery and then move on to primary school as organically as possible. This ensures that the child feels safe and that the quality of the child’s development remains guaranteed. Our pedagogical vision determines the way we interact with the children and how (free) play and also activities are shaped by the MAM’s Specialists.

Our pedagogical coaches support the Specialists with training, image coaching and reflection. They help with pedagogical questions and with finding solutions for children or groups. In this way, our Specialists continue to grow and together we provide the best care for every child.

Healthy childcare

We value quality and a healthy lifestyle. That is why we offer activities that contribute to the development of children and our specialists. Think of themes such as exercise, nutrition, nature and culture. Everything is carefully attuned to our vision and pedagogical policy.

Baby specialist

With the arrival of a baby comes a special and sometimes exciting time. From 3 months onwards, your baby is most welcome; we understand how precious your trust is. Our pedagogical staff in the baby group are specially trained and are therefore rightly called MAM’s Baby Specialists.

They recognise and respond to babies’ signals so that your child feels heard and understood. They are trained in (breast)feeding, sleep, crying behaviour and baby development, with an eye for each child’s unique rhythm and needs.

We consider collaboration with you as a parent essential. Before the start, we have an extensive intake meeting, in which we discuss rhythms, rituals, the birth and your feelings, everything that can influence your baby’s development and signals. Together, we ensure the best possible start.

Our baby specialists are supported by pedagogical coaches and attend annual training through our own MAM’s Academy. Think courses such as baby massage or breastfeeding from a lactation expert, always with love and professionalism in mind

MAM’s Academy

At MAM’s, we not only stimulate children’s development, but also that of our pedagogical staff. Through the MAM’s Academy, they follow various modules on topics such as pedagogy, communication with you as a parent and health.

These modules consist of a combination of online self-study, practical assignments in the group and inspiring meetings. We regularly develop new modules that meet the needs of our pedagogical staff. This way, they continue to grow in their profession and your child receives the loving care and guidance it deserves every day.

Local collaborations

Buying local is a conscious choice for us. So we do our shopping as much as possible at local entrepreneurs, from the baker around the corner to the greengrocer in the neighbourhood. This way, we know exactly where our products come from and support the community in which our children grow up. Fresh and familiar.
